AI photo animation: depth, camera moves and property accuracy

A photo animation is not a recording of a camera moving through the property. It is a video built from a photograph. The technique matters because it determines which details come from the original and which a model may invent.

Three ways to animate a photo

Start with three to six listing photos. Choose one or two for generated AI highlights and combine them with the remaining original photographs, music and branding in a finished reel. AI depth and Standard photo effects are also available. The source-depth process moves original pixels using an AI depth estimate; generated highlights synthesize new frames. Neither technique establishes what lies around an unseen corner.

Generated highlights go through playback, motion and property checks. Compare each take with its source in landscape, portrait and square. A possible property mismatch needs your explicit source confirmation and a note before you can keep it; the original AI finding remains recorded. Incomplete checks and motion problems stay blocked. One replacement per selected photo is included. Then review the finished reel before downloading. AI depth scenes use their own source and depth checks.

Why prompts are not enough

A prompt asking a video model to preserve the room does not prove it did so. Attractive generated footage can still turn a mirror into an opening or change a light fixture. A model-based reviewer can also miss an error or report a change that did not happen. Compare the actual delivered frames, and use checks suited to the technique.

A practical frame-by-frame review

1. Place the source beside the video and pause near the beginning, middle and end of each scene.
2. Count windows and doorways. Follow the lines where walls meet the ceiling.
3. Inspect fixtures, countertops, flooring and exterior finishes.
4. Look at glass, reflections and the view outside.
5. Check all three aspect ratios and hold any questionable result from publication.
